Was unpacking my bag and was suddenly reminded of how my Tokna WANTED me to 'kawan' (befriend) two guys. Both professionals.

Tokna (grandma) : " Kawan dulu, berbual-bual la on telephone."
Me: " Huh? Taknak la.."
Tokna : "Baikla org dia. Engineer."
Me: (smiles and look at mama, who sat next to me) "Tak nakla Tokna.. Tak minat.. Pass pada Hajar la."
Tokna: (gave me a serious look) "Tasha, dah ada kawan ke?"
ME: (kept quiet for like 3 sec)"Takde la tapi Tasha tak minat. Boleh cari sendiri." (smiles)
Tokna: " Betul tak nak?"
Mama and me just smiled.
Me: Ye Tokna.. tak nak. Biarla Arina kahwin dulu. (laughs)

And she moved on to another topic. Another guy. HAHA.
Same respond from me and mama. Me not interested.

I find this whole thing rather interesting and amusing but never will I go through a matchmake. I'm sure I can find him myself. Pfft!

I can't blame her for some of the younger ones are getting married next year. I'm very excited for my cousins but I'm not rushing for marriage; even though I do wonder how I would be as a mom and how my kids would look like! But, there're still many things for me to do. Marriage will come one day but not too soon ;) InsyaALLAH I won't be left out on the shelf! Haha. Well, let's hope before I reach my thirties!

Arina, pls set a date ( I'm thinking 12th Dec?)!
