I think its really weird when you expect Hong Bao from friends who came to celebrate your big day.
Alright fine, maybe you can expect but if you get none, there's no need for confrontation right?
These days it seems that they trying to make their guest pay for their own dinner. Shouldnt it be the other way round? The couple buying the guests dinner?

Between Hongbao and presence, I rather the latter. But that's just me.

Oh well, think we're losing the original intention of celebrating and gathering.
